This framework was brought in to curb uncontrolled plastic pollution and push more sustainable recycling activities across different industries.
Now, EPR compliance is slowly turning into something mandatory for companies in FMCG, e-commerce , food packaging, electronics, and a lot of other spaces. If a company doesn’t comply, penalties can happen, registration might get cancelled, and legal action could also follow.
